A WEEKEND OF EARTH DAY EVENTS IN CHESTER

CHESTER- The City of Chester Department of Streets, Highways, & Public Improvements in conjunction with the Department of Parks, Public Property, & Recreation, present their annual events in honor of the upcoming “Earth Day”.  Councilwoman Portia West, will sponsor Chester’s annual shredding and recycling event Friday and Saturday, April 11th and 12th, free to businesses and residents of Chester inside the west end parking lot of Chester City Hall beginning at 10AM, event resources to be provided by J&K Source Shredding. All Chester residents and businesses are welcomed to bring their outdated paper items for shredding.  Volunteers are welcomed to participate in Councilwoman Elizabeth Williams’ Crozer Park Trail Cleanup, on Saturday, April 12th beginning 10AM at Finland Dr. and Kerlin St., Chester, PA.
